Sateen makes a better flat sheet than fitted, honestly, because drape is what a top sheet is for: it lies over you rather than tenting. Pearl is a cool pale grey that sits between the white and the dusk shades. The cut is the same as the percale flat sheet, 60 cm over in width and 40 cm in length.
The sateen caveats apply: the surface floats catch on rough skin and jewellery, and the sheen fades a little over the first year of washing.
