Sateen is the pillowcase of choice for anyone who wakes up with creased cheeks: the smooth surface drags less on skin and hair than percale does. These are housewife cases with a 15 cm inside flap, in the 300-count ivory, white or pearl.
The surface floats are exactly what catch on an earring or a rough fingernail, so if you sleep in jewellery, expect the occasional pulled thread.
