A pair of envelope-back cases in the washed cotton, which arrives soft and never needs pressing. The 20 cm envelope at the back keeps the pillow in without buttons. Blush, dusk rose and plum are garment-dyed and lighten by about a tone a year; white, obviously, does not.
Washed cotton is not as hard-wearing as the plain percale, and pillowcases get the most washes of anything on the bed - count on them softening a little faster.
